Terms and Conditions

Focus & Follow Dog Training

These Terms and Conditions govern all dog training services provided byFocus & Follow Dog Training, Mrs Kelly Joslin to the client (“Owner,” “you”).

1. Services

We provide dog training services including, but not limited to, private lessons, group classes, behavior modification, and training programs. Results are not guaranteed, as dog behavior depends on many factors including consistency, environment, and owner participation.

2. Owner Responsibilities

• The Owner confirms they are the legal owner or authorized handler of the dog.
• Dogs must be healthy, vaccinated, and free from contagious illnesses. Proof of vaccination may be required.
• The Owner agrees to disclose any history of aggression, biting, or behavioral issues before training begins.
• The Owner agrees to follow training instructions and practice assigned exercises between sessions.

3. Health & Safety

• The Trainer reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if a dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive beyond the Trainer’s scope.
• The Owner is responsible for any injuries or damages caused by their dog during or after training sessions.
• The Trainer is not responsible for illness, injury, escape, or death of a dog unless caused by proven negligence.

4. Payment & Fees

• Payment is due at time of service.
• Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Prices are subject to change with prior notice.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee.
• The Trainer reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to illness, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Training Methods

We use balanced training . The Owner agrees to these methods and understands that training may involve equipment such as leashes, collars, or harnesses, used appropriately and humanely.

7. No Guarantees

Dog training results vary. The Trainer does not guarantee specific behavior outcomes or permanent results. Ongoing training and reinforcement by the Owner are required.

8. Liability Waiver

By engaging in training services, the Owner agrees to hold Focus &Follow Dog Ttraining, Mrs Kelly Joslin, its employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or injuries resulting from participation in training, except in cases of gross negligence.

9. Media Release (Optional)

The Owner grants permission for photos or videos of the dog taken during training to be used for marketing or educational purposes unless otherwise stated in writing.

10. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services at any time. Unused sessions may be forfeited unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of United Kingdom.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or participating in training services, the Owner acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
